The very popular Cork City Marathon took place on Sunday, 1st June, drawing a sell-out field of over 11,000 runners, joggers, and walkers across the Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K distances.
While the day started with rain, the skies cleared and conditions stayed dry for the remainder of the event—ideal for racing.
Dundrum AC was well represented in the Half Marathon, with two standout performances:
- 🥈 Aisling Ryan – 2nd Lady Overall, running a superb 1:19
- 💪 Brigid Browne – a strong finish in 2:04, showing great form and determination
A huge well done to both athletes for flying the flag in Cork with class and consistency.
